Limited Warranty Policy

At Kyle’s Containers, we stand behind the quality and reliability of every shipping container we sell. This Limited Warranty explains what is covered, what is not covered, and the responsibilities of both Kyle’s Containers and the customer.

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

Kyle’s Containers warrants that containers purchased directly from us will be free from material defects that substantially affect structural integrity at the time of delivery.

Warranty Eligibility

To qualify for warranty service, the following conditions must be met:

  • You are the original purchaser.

  • The container was purchased directly from Kyle’s Containers.

  • You can provide proof of purchase.

  • The container has not been modified, altered, or improperly maintained after delivery.

2. What Is Covered

Subject to inspection and approval, this warranty may cover:

  • Structural defects present at delivery.

  • Major door operation defects.

  • Defects that prevent normal intended use.

  • Significant water intrusion resulting from defects present at delivery.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Normal Wear and Tear

  • Surface rust

  • Paint fading

  • Cosmetic dents and scratches

  • Minor weathering

Customer Damage

  • Damage caused during unloading or relocation.

  • Improper site preparation.

  • Ground settlement causing container distortion.

  • Unauthorized modifications.

Environmental Conditions

  • Flooding

  • Fire damage

  • Storm damage

  • Natural disasters

  • Corrosion caused by environmental exposure after delivery

Modifications

  • Cutting, welding, drilling, or structural alterations.

  • Electrical, plumbing, insulation, HVAC, or interior fit-outs installed after delivery.

4. Delivery Inspection Requirement

Customers must inspect containers upon delivery.

Any visible defects, damage, or delivery-related concerns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Failure to report visible defects within this period may void warranty consideration.

5. Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim, customers must provide:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Photographs of the issue

  • Description of the defect

  • Delivery address

  • Contact information

Kyle’s Containers reserves the right to inspect the container before approving any warranty claim.

6. Limited Remedy

If a valid warranty claim is approved, Kyle’s Containers may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defect

  • Supply replacement parts

  • Replace the affected container

  • Provide another appropriate remedy

These remedies constitute the customer’s exclusive remedy under this warranty.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kyle’s Containers shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Consequential damages

  • Loss of business

  • Loss of profits

  • Loss of use

  • Project delays

  • Costs associated with site preparation or modifications

Our total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the container.

8. Warranty Void Conditions

This warranty becomes void if:

  • The container is modified without authorization.

  • The container is relocated improperly.

  • Structural alterations are performed.

  • Damage results from misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.

  • False or misleading information is provided during the claims process.
